Skky Hotel

We stayed at the SKKY on 2 occasions in September. The staff (Freddie, Imran, Jastine & Jeff) were very welcoming and eager to help us with our luggage. We enjoyed the Indian restaurant so much that we returned for the 2nd night. The hotel was across the road from the airport, so easy to find with our rented car. Our room was clean, quiet and complete. They even provided shippers!

Freddie helped me with every question and was really nice and was very helpful with anything I needed. He’s one of the reasons this place is getting five stars. But the hotel rooms are really nice and they have winter plug-ins, which I really like

This is my second time coming here; location is so convenient without being downtown especially if you’re catching a flight. Freddie has been front desk both times made sure we were comfortable each time. Very kind, informative, always inviting. I don’t always travel up this way as I usually do Terrace route but if I do it’s good place to stay.

A quick and easy stroll from the airport, the Skky hotel is a perfect place to stay if you have to do a quick stay in Whitehorse before returning to the airport for another flight the next morning. Freddie was a wonderful in assisting in confirming and answer any question I had while booking and upon arrival. The Taj Mahal restaurant was fast and fantastic service and food. Much appreciation to the quality team and service provided for my stay, looking forward to the next one

We had a wonderful stay, and I want to give a special thank-you to Freddie, Chris, and Imran. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate my grandmother’s 80th birthday. The room was beautifully decorated with flowers and balloons, they even arranged a cake with her name, and they left a heartfelt message that truly moved her. Their kindness and attention to detail made this trip unforgettable for our whole family. We are deeply grateful and would happily stay here again!

My family and I stayed at the SKKY hotel on our arrival in Whitehorse. We had a very warm welcome from Jefferson on reception, who was very helpful. The room was clean and we had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is also conveniently located, just across the road from the airport so would recommend if you are arriving in Whitehorse late or after a long flight. Our first stay was so convenient and comfortable that we booked a further night's stay through Jefferson for the last day of our holiday, before our early morning flight home. Again the reception staff on duty, Freddie and Jastine, were very welcoming and helpful. Staff kindly advised us to check with our airline because they’d heard our flight might be delayed. We confirmed this was indeed the case with the airline and consequently were able to have a longer sleep before heading across the road to the airport for the long flight home. Thank you!

Jefferson was very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our booking and check-in process. He greeted us and made sure our rooms were fine. He also ensured the invoices were e-mailed and received. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and we enjoyed the beautiful balcony view. The only downsides were that there is no elevator for luggage and no microwave in the room for heating food. There are only limited charger stations at the front parking for warming up vehicles under the snow. Aside from that, we had a pleasant stay.
